SECTION 1: FAMILY

With the Home Manager’s command center, I like to set it up as a one-stop family shop where all members can find what they need.

For example: How many forms do you fill out that ask for insurance information, social security numbers, certified copies of birth certicicates? Wouldn’t it be nice to take this container full of these vital documents and reference it when competing your paperwork? Of course, this container would need to be stored in a safe place, free from theft and fire damage. I put mine in a fire safe lock box that you can get at an office supply store.

“Another part of this section contains, emergency forms, babysitter’s phone numbers, a master calendar Doctor’s phone numbers, and anything you think is relavent.

Next would be the school section where you can store all educational paperwork, activities, directions to the activities, bus stop information, rosters, schedules, etc. Having all these items in a binder marked by child, helps increase retrieval time and teaches your children independence in referencing their activities and school schedules. Also, you can use this binder for when you are going out of town. Make directions on index cards that they can be pulled out and given to a babysitter.

This is a very simple description for a complex role of running your family and home, but get started today and if you need help give me a call, 314-780-4968.
