Where are all those important papers?
Our home, our haven, however it can become our hell when we cannot find what we need in a timely manner. How about the warranty on the dishwasher, or do you even have a warrantee?
How about your family’s, schedules, immunization records, birth certificates and social security cards? Can you get a hold of them if you wanted to?
I bring this up for a reason; I couldn’t find all these things in my house! Yes the Professional Organizer does have plenty of things that get lost. I can pretty much pinpoint a few places I would have put them, but the stress was just not worth it anymore; especially when an unpatient spouse is breathing down my neck!
Also, I started my company last year and I wanted to document everything: home manuals, school schedules. I wanted to organize all these items so someone could come in and take over while I built my business. I searched the internet yet, my search came up incomplete. Oh sure there are things out there: vital document holders, home manuals and menu planning programs. However, I wanted something more, something comprehensive, affordable and simple to complete. I could spend a whole year buying and completing 3 separate manuals. So I decided to create one myself.
Each week this month I will introduce a section of my The Home Manager’s Command Center.
Finally…. my mission for this manual: I want to simplify the complexity of managing a home. By documenting each facet of running a home families can expereince the joy of easily locating vital items, the peace of knowing the dinner menu each night and the relief of having a documented process of how you run your home on a daily basis.
