How many times are you stuck in a rut? You know that you “should” be doing something about your health, but you are not sure what. With all the information about nutrition, how do you determine what is true and what may not be so true? You may hear about the next gimmick or “magic bullet” and hop on that bandwagon. You release some weight, but then you let go of the bullet and go back to your old ways and all of a sudden the extra weight greets you and the downward spiral begins.
So what works? Well, a plan that is customized to your body, your lifestyle, your preferences. My clients learn to take action because the steps are spelled out, the mystery has left. How easy it is to take action when you have a plan, right?
Yet, chucking that magic bullet and taking the first step can be difficult. No worries, as your Holistic Health Expert I take each step by your side. We re-adjust and tweak the plan, but most importantly, we take imperfect action.
What do I mean by Imperfect action? Well, so many of us get stuck because when we do finally implement, we want that action to be perfect. I lived in that world of perfect and all it did was leave me 50 pounds overweight, frustrated, angry and miserable. Imperfect action means we take action, any action and we retool as we go. Writing this page is imperfect action. I may have some misspellings and/or grammatical errors. If so, I apologize and I will be back to make corrections but connecting with you right now holds a bigger priority than any perfect copy.
